Jazz Fest 2012: Food and Music



Want a little Jazz Fest experience in your own home? Well, here is the ultimate experience! Yes, it may not be the same as setting a chair down and listening to music in New Orleans yourself, but it's close enough right?

First, I wanted to give you a few recipes of some food that I tried at the Fest (like the picture?). Here's a few recipes:

Fried Crab Cake with Tarter Sauce:

I recommend adding Sun-Dried Tomatoes and JalapeƱos to the tarter sauce, that's how they made it at the Fest!

Crawfish Monica:

Fried Catfish Po Boy:

Obviously there were a few recognizable titles such as Eagles and Foo Fighters, but my Mom, Dad and I tried to avoid those performances because they were FULL of people. My father has been going to Jazz Fest for years, so he knew which stages to go to and who to see. Here are a few people I was impressed with that I feel is worth your time:
